Castrism and Chavezism are the worst recipe for Latin America,
Spanish former head of government José María Aznar
told Mexican daily Milenio, as quoted by DPA.
Queried about the leftwing re-emergence in the hemisphere
before visiting Mexico to introduce his book "Retratos y perfiles,
de Fraga a Bush" (Portraits and profiles -From Fraga to Bush),
Aznar answered that populism is a major danger in the area.
"Nothing good can go out from it."
Aznar lashed out particularly at Venezuelan president Hugo
Chavez and Cuban ruler Fidel Castro. In his opinion, they
represent a destabilization danger and a model absolutely
left behind, "in some cases, full of disturbing delusions."
