Hundred protesters intensively demonstrated all through Caracas
to ask authorities for justice following the murder of Faddoul
brothers Jason (12), Kevin (13) and Bryan (17) and their
driver Miguel Rivas (30.)
In Vista Alegre, west Caracas, where the boys lived; Altamira,
east Caracas, the Francisco Fajardo highway, and Urdaneta
Avenue, downtown Caracas, demonstrators gathered to show repudiation
against this case, while they asked authorities to protect
the lives of people living in Venezuela.
Protesters expressing outrage and pain for the murder of
the Faddoul brothers and Miguel Rivas comprised classmates,
university students from several national universities, neighbor
associations, and citizens in general.
Demonstrators shouted and demanded Hugo Chávez Government
to make justice.
Road and freeway blockades, vigils, prayers and masses for
the Faddoul brothers and Miguel Rivas took place throughout
Caracas.
"Stop kidnappings" and "Mourning" read some of the banners
the demonstrators carried, in an attempt to repudiate this
crime.
Protesters sat down in the street outside the Ministry of
the Interior and Justice, in Urdaneta Avenue, west Caracas,
while others staged peaceful demonstrations in Altamira, east
Caracas, the Francisco Fajardo Highway, and Vista Alegre,
west Caracas.
