Japanese businesspeople interested in Venezuela, minister says


The Venezuelan Minister of State for Integration Gustavo Márquez said Japanese businessmen are interested in investing in Venezuela, and therefore they are interested in hearing about integration agreements and the future of the Venezuelan economy.

Márquez' remarks came during a business meeting with Japanese entrepreneurs. He added that economic indicators show Venezuela has a solid economy, and therefore the Government is undertaking productive development strategic plans.

"This is a great chance for Japanese investors to come to Venezuela and engage in direct investments to add value to row materials."
