"¡Aló, Presidente!" (Hello, President!) will be on the
air now everyday, Monday through Friday, for 90 minutes, reported
Tuesday the Ministry of Communication and Information (Minci).
The TV and radio show featured by President Hugo Chávez
used to be broadcast on Sundays. The traditional edition will
be replaced by these daily versions from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30
p.m.
On Thursdays, the show will be aired both on official TV
channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV) and Radio Nacional
de Venezuela. The rest of the week will be solely on the radio.
Based on a press release from Minci, the show will be on
the air again next Thursday, February 15th, at 8:00 p.m.
According to the Ministry, the Enabling Law, the constitutional
reform, Mission Moral y Luces (a government initiative to
complete primary education), the new power geometry, and the
community power revolutionary outburst will be addressed every
night, in addition to current domestic and foreign issues.
