The Venezuelan government plans to ratify a petition for
extradition from the United States of terrorist Luis Posada
Carriles, reported Wednesday People's Power Minister of Foreign
Affairs Nicolás Maduro.
The senior official made the remarks during a press conference
together with his Cuban counterpart Felipe Pérez Roque
at the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, official news agency ABN
quoted.
"Venezuela will make again before an international body a
petition for extradition of renowned international terrorist
Posada Carriles," he commented.
Last Tuesday, Judge Kathleen Cardone, of El Paso, Texas,
dismissed a case against the anti-Castro activist, releasing
and holding him harmless from any charges.
