Thousands of people rejecting President Hugo Chávez's
proposed changes to the Constitution Thursday marched to Bolívar
Avenue, downtown Caracas, to take part in the final rally
for the No vote.
Students and citizens of different ages marched from several
points carrying placards and wearing colorful clothing to
express their disapproval of the draft constitutional reform
to be voted next Sunday.
The Bolívar Avenue was crowded by a multitude who listened
to student and opposition political party leaders. The demonstration
was carried out without incidents.
