Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez arrived in Honduras,
specifically in the Colonel Hernán Acosta Mejías
Air Base, on Tuesday afternoon.
Chávez was in Guatemala on Monday, in the first stop
of his tour of Central America, the Venezuelan official news
agency ABN reported.
Chávez is visiting Honduras on Tuesday and then Nicaragua,
where he is reviewing bilateral cooperation agreement with
the government of Daniel Ortega.
04:20 PM. Western Hemisphere. Colombian President Álvaro Uribe said on Tuesday that governments should ensure citizens' rights to live on the border, in reference to a political and diplomatic crisis with Venezuela and its effects on border residents.
