Paraguayan President Nicanor Duarte Tuesday denounced that
"troublemakers" from Venezuela and Ecuador traveled to the
Paraguayan capital city "to cloud elections" where leftist
former bishop Fernando Lugo is leading polls.
"Troublemakers from Venezuela and Ecuador came here and are
staying in hotels downtown to cloud elections," said Duarte
to local radio stations, reported AFP.
The Paraguayan pro-government sector claims that Lugo -the
front runner in polls- is receiving support from Presidents
Hugo Chávez (Venezuela), Evo Morales (Bolivia), and Rafael
Correa (Ecuador).
