The articles of incorporation that "will consolidate the
creation of the Union of Nations of the South (Unasur)" will
be signed in Brazil next May 23rd by the presidents of the
region, said on Monday the Foreign Minister for Latin American
and Caribbean Affairs Francisco Arias Cárdenas.
"This document, all of which has been reviewed and agreed,
will be submitted for signing in the summit to be hold in
Brazil next May 23rd," Arias Cárdenas told reporters,
Efe quoted.
"It is not another forum, it is the forum of forums; it is
the integration moving towards a federation, a confederation,
very similar to the European Economic Community," the official
added.
