Argentinean Minister of Economy ponders bonds placement in Venezuela
Argentinean Minister of Economy Carlos Fernández will
meet Thursday with Minister of Finance Rafael Isea in Caracas
to discuss the potential placement in Venezuela of Argentinean
notes and the takeoff of the Bank of the South, an Argentinean
official source stated on Wednesday.
Fernández and Argentinean Minister of Federal Planning
Julio de Vido planned to leave Buenos Aires on Wednesday afternoon
in the midst of a standoff caused by the Venezuelan government's
decision to nationalize steelmaker Ternium Sidor, whose shareholders'
equity is mostly Argentinean.
Argentinean minister of Economy will meet with his Venezuelan
counterpart to deal with the Argentinean bond issue in Venezuela.
However, their value is not established yet, Fernández's
spokesman José Luis Olivero stated, according to AFP.
