Chávez, Lula kick off meeting to foster bilateral integration

Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez and his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva met at Miraflores presidential palace to underpin bilateral integration, gas cooperation and 11 projects in the industrial area that are well in advanced.

The meeting will be used also to discuss six projects in the agro-industrial field, reported the Bolivarian News Agency (ABN).

President Chávez welcomed Lula on Friday morning as part of their second quarterly summit in the year.

The items in the agenda include bilateral relations and cooperation matters in the fields of trade, industry, agriculture and stockbreeding, education and energy.
