Antonio Ledezma, leader of opposition Alianza Bravo Pueblo
(ABP) party, asked on Monday the Venezuelan government to
give an explanation for the Venezuelan helicopter that plunged
into the land in Bolivia, killing four Venezuelan militaries
and one Bolivian officer.
The Venezuelan Super Puma military helicopter used to transport
Bolivian President Evo Morales during his frequent trips to
the provinces.
"Not only a million-dollar aircraft was lost; but four Venezuelans
lost their lives. There was an accident of a Venezuelan helicopter
dedicated to President Evo Morales," said Ledezma. "Why does
a Venezuelan helicopter intervenes in Bolivia? Why was it
appointed to President Evo Morales? he wondered.
04:17 PM. Western Hemisphere. "Damned empire; I curse you one thousand times; some day you will be finished off and wrecked. I curse you one thousand times, empire." This is the least that President Hugo Chávez has uttered to refer to the US government. In urging the Bolivarian Armed Forces to prepare for war, he said that a US raid on Venezuela through Colombia would trigger and spread over the region "the 100-year war."
