Russian military experts warned the United States one more
time against deployment of an anti-missile shield in Central
and Eastern Europe and rebutted the media speculations on
the potential shipment of bombers to Cuba or Venezuela.
"Russia, a peace loving-country, does not establish military
bases next to foreign countries," said a spokesman of the
Russian Defense Ministry, DPA quoted.
Reference was made to the news released on Monday by Russian
pro-government daily newspaper Izvestia, according to which
Russia could send bombers to Cuba in reply to the US plans
to deploy anti-missile components in Poland and the Czech
Republic.
"We do respect sovereignties," the spokesman noted.
