Economy Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is to meet on Tuesday in Manaos with his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chávez, and Presidents Rafael Correa, of Ecuador, and Evo Morales, of Bolivia, will join them.

Despite the Brazilian Foreign Minister has confirmed only Chávez's visit so far, Correa said in Quito that both him and Morales will be personally present in Brazil to deal with a regional road integration project beginning with the multimodal hub from Manta, Ecuador, to Manaos, Brazil, DPA reported.

Also, in La Paz, Övan Canelas, the deputy presidential spokesman, told DPA that Morales would be in Manaos. "President Morales will go to Brazil to meet with his colleagues of Brazil, Ecuador and Venezuela."

The meeting with Chávez is part of a schedule of meetings set by the two presidents to follow up the progress of bilateral projects, the hemispheric state of affairs and global issues, DPA reported.
