Venezuelan Minister of the Interior and Justice Tarek El Aissami said that Venezuelan-American businessman Guido Antonini Wilson, who tried to smuggle USD 800,000 in a suitcase into Argentina, is an FBI and CIA agent.

"Antonini is an agent of the FBI and a member of the CIA. He is acting as such, he is a henchman."

The minister described as "a smear campaign" and "an international show" the trial which is underway in the United States against Venezuelan businessman Franklin Durán for allegedly acting as an illegal agent of the Venezuelan government in the US and his relationship with the suitcase scandal.  

El Aissami criticized the fact that Antonini Wilson is not being tried in the US. The minister also rejected the fact that Antonini has not been extradited to Argentina or Venezuela.
