Alberto Federico Ravell, the director of the private TV news channel Globovisión, met on Friday morning with Santiago Cantón, the Executive Secretary of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), Organization of American States (OAS), and produced documents that support the allegations and actions seeking precautionary measures filed with the IACHR for violation of human rights and freedom of expression.
These documents include some files related to the proceedings against Guillermo Zuloaga, the CEO of Globovisión.
Ravell met with Santiago Cantón on Friday morning and in the afternoon with Catalina Botero, the Commission's Special Rapporteur for Freedom of Expression.
The director of the private TV network will keep the IACHR abreast of the cases against Globovisión and what some people consider violations against freedom of expression in Venezuela.
