Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez said on Tuesday that the United States has been hit by "imperial madness," as proven by the attacks on countries such as Libya that are not US satellites.
"Countries are rarely bombed with the alleged purpose of protecting civilians, while bombs are falling everywhere," Chávez said in a press statement upon his arrival at the Ecuadorian city of Salinas, where he met with President Rafael Correa, Efe reported.
