A new modification to the voting system will soon be made. Next December 16 the electronic ballot will allow putting together voters' choices.
Depending on the constituency, voters will have to cast their ballots 3-6 times. In order to facilitate voting in bloc (all candidates from the same party), the National Electoral Council (CNE) will incorporate an additional button into the electronic ballot, thus enabling the selection of all the candidates of a single party or parties group supporting the selected candidate for governor by pressing a button just once.
In other words, rather than pressing the button three, four, or six times, voters will be just one step away from casting their votes.
By pressing the respective button, the automated voting machine will select all candidates to the legislative council and the allied governor.
