"Our comrade (Solicitor General) Cilia Flores just came back (fro m Cuba) and personally checked the favorable conditions (of President Chávez). Day after day, our commander is regaining strength, all his conditions."
Flores, as stated by Maduro, returned from Havana and briefed on the Venezuelan leader.
During his speech following the sworn-in ceremony of pro-government Wilmar Castro Soteldo as the new governor of Portuguesa state. Maduro called upon unity of "revolutionary political and social forces."
Chávez, he said, should "continue his process toward stabilization." Concomitantly, government authorities "work to defend the Venezuelan people," state-run news agency Agencia Venezolana de Noticias (AVN) cited.
