Venezuelan Government political team meets in Havana

The agenda of the meeting with Cuban President Raúl Castro was not disclosed

Led by Vice-President Nicolás Maduro, President Chávez's political team and Cuban President Raúl Castro met at the protocol room of international airport José Martí located in Havana, Cuban official media reported.

Venezuela's Congress' Speaker and ruling party Vice-President Diosdado Cabello as well as Oil Minister Rafael Ramírez and Solicitor General Cilia Flores attended the meeting as well.

Earlier, Science, Technology, and Innovation Minister Jorge Arreaza had informed that the Government's political team landed in Havana to visit Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez who has been recovering from a cancer surgery he underwent on December 11, 2012.

The agenda of the meeting was not revealed.
