A total of 120 violent deaths in Caracas in carnival

Some 120 people were killed in Caracas, Venezuela, during carnival. At least, 78 dead bodies were taken to the morgue of Caracas during such period, according to police sources.

One of the victims was identified as Juan Basilio López (45), who died on Tuesday after he was heavily beaten and set in fire. His relatives informed that the man resisted robbery at his store and was heavily beaten. 

Relatives of the victims appeared at the National Coordination of Forensic Sciences in Caracas to withdraw the bodies.
